About Me

With over 30 years of life experiences, I like to think I've seen my fair share of fun, amazing and random stuff;

I worked in radio for a while, planned flyers few years with a major Canadian retailer and now I'm in the wine business.  Toronto is my home but my suitcase is always ready for an adventure. I've traveled most of Canada by bus, jumped around in Europe a couple times, I've seen many of the "big cities" in the USA but there's still a long list of places I'd like to visit.

Sports take up too much of my time but I'm ok with that...I've also broken a bone or 2 in my body along the way and have the scars to prove it.  Whether it's playing or watching, I'm very thankful for everything sports has done for me.  I was lucky enough to volunteer in Whistler for the 2010 Winter Olympics and would love to take in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.  I've seen the Ottawa Senators play in the Stanley Cup finals, I was in the Santiago Bernabeu one year when Real Madrid was crowned La Liga Champions and I've experienced an English Premier league match where Chelsea FC beat Fulham at Stamford Bridge in London.

This blog is my unique perspective on stuff - sports, music, books, booze, food, travelling...life experiences.

I read a quote early in life that's always stuck with me; "It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult."  This quote inspired me to jump out of a plane, try bungee jumping in Quebec & go canyoning while I was in Switzerland. This quote has also encouraged me to fall in love, move in with a girlfriend & maybe one day I'll even dare to get married and have a family.

An anomaly is defined as, a deviation or departure from the normal or common order, form, or rule.  I believe each person is there own anomaly.  We all travel our own path and are all odd, peculiar, or strange in our own way.

The Wright Anomaly is my deviation from the common order...it's views & stories from my little part of the universe.

Cheers
